Trip to the coast!!

The weather here in Portland has been unseansonably warm (so I've been told) but we have really been enjoying the weather!! It has been in the 60s some days!! So since it was a beautiful weekend, we decided to take a trip to the coast!! I forgot how beautiful and breath taking the ocean really is! God can creat some beautiful things, I can't even express in words sometimes! We started off in Astoria, which was kinda of disappointing, it was beautiful, but no beach access, so we met up with Corree & Nick and ate some lunch in Astoria, then we headed down to Cannon Beach....BEAUTIFUL!!! We took some pictures & just walked along the coast, then headed back home! I can't believe we only live an hour and a half from the ocean, you can bet we will be going there a lot more, now that the weather is nice (hopefully it stays this way)!

The beginning of the end...;)

So, ever since Faith has starting sitting up, it is a whole new world to her. She has become a WIGGLE worm, so interested in everything! It is crazy, she has since started scooting, and just becoming a big girl! Where did time go, what happened to my little baby who fell asleep in my arms, and was content hanging out in one spot all day?!? It isn't all bad though...it is really amazing watching her grow and discover new things. She acts like she has the whole world figured out!!! Everything goes in her mouth, and no we still have no teeth :( I can feel one on the bottom tho, so I am hoping it breaks through this weekend!!

On another note, I have started working in the office here at the R.V. Park, just a couple hours a week, Faith stays home with her daddy, and although they have only done it one night, I think they both enjoyed it!! They went for a long walk & even stopped by to say hello!! It is great only being there a few hours at night, when Josh is home, and they are only a few hundred feet away!!!

Nana, Superbowl & Sitting up...WHO DAT?!?!?! ;)

Josh's mom was here over the weekend, just a quick trip, she is headed to Medford to see Roxy & the kids then to California, then Hawaii, then possibly back up here! It was really nice to see her, she hasn't seen Faith since she was a week old!!

We went over to Nick & Corree's for the Super Bowl, and Faith decided she was going to sit up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I freaked out, everyone else seemed a little less excited, but I was very very very happy, and Vanessa had her camera out, so we got pictures & VIDEO!!!!! Thank goodness for grandmas!!! enjoy!!!

Mommy & Me photo session....aka boredom

Yesterday we didn't have much going on, and I actually put make up on! That is a very good day for us! So we had a little photo session! It was fun, and lots of the pictures are definatley not blogworthy! :) So here are a few! Enjoy!

Faith's 6 month Birthday EXTRAVAGANZA....

Ok so it wasn't really an extravaganza, and it was something we probably would have done either way, but it just happened to fall the day after she turned 6 months :)
On Saturday we got up & went out to breakfast, had some very yummy french toast, and Faith had a taste of her first strawberry! She LOVED it, I mean come on, who doesn't love strawberries!! Then we walked down the street and did a little pottery painting. Although we didn't paint pottery, Josh painted a frame, and Faith & I painted a tile and put her foot prints on them! It was really fun! And one of our first family fun things to do together, well other than our walks of course!!! After a crazy morning, we got home and took a nap, all of us! It was nice, then went to Corree & Nick's for some AMAZING biscuits & gravy (for dinner)!!!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend too!!! We will have lots of pictures next weekend, because Josh's mom is coming in town! Our fist visitor to Portland, well other than Rochelle & Angelina, but they were only here for like a day, and we couldn't do anything really...sooo ya!

My Princess!

HAPPY FEBRUARY! Faith has a doctors appointment on Friday, I'll let everyone know how it goes then!!!

A few things about Faith...

Soo...ever since Faith was born (ok a little after) she has been super nosey! If there is something going on or we are somewhere, she is awake looking around, and taking it all in! I like to call her nosey Rosey sometimes ;) no matter how tired she is...she stays awake!

Another thing she LOVES, is her stroller...she will sit in there forever, but not in her carseat in the stroller, in the big girl part sitting up...looking around, again being nosey! She loves walks in the stroller, in the mall, outside, anywhere as long as she can sit in there she is a happy happy girl ;)

Also, the outdoors, she is already so obsessed with being outside, even tho it is cold! We go out side & she SMILES soo big, especially if she knows we are going on a walk in her stroller outside...that is her favorite!! When we were in Texas getting ready to leave, I was inside packing, and Josh was outside getting ready, Faith sat outside in her stroller for over and hour just watching him & taking it all in!

When Faith was born, until about 3 months old she HATED her carseat ;) She screamed the entire time we were in the car...but our LONG drive from Las Vegas here, she somehow began to love it!!! Which was a good thing, because I can't imagine how that trip would have gone if she hadn't figured it out, or if Angelina wasn't there!!! Now she basically falls asleep everytime we get in the car...I won't complain tho!!! :)

Ok that is all I have for now...I can't believe she is 6 months old today! Time has flown by, and although I don't remember what life was without her, it feels like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant...such an amazing feeling, I will never forget that day, the first time I told someone (which was you Jess), saying it outloud was an amazing feeling, life is so beautiful, and goes by so fast. Although my life can be crazy & bumpy sometimes, I think it is PERFECT, and wouldn't have it any other way. I can't believe that in 6 months Faith will be a year old.

Faith *LOVES* food!!

Ohh my the last week or so she has been LOVING food! She especially loves Sweet Potatoes and Pears. Banannas are growing on her, and she likes apples too ;) We were bathing every other night, now we do every night because she is a messy messy girl! Sweet Peas are not her favorite thing in the world, but I can only expect that from her I wouldn't eat them either!

I am really looking forward to her 6 month check up...UGH 6 months I can't believe it! We have her appointment on February 5th :) I am very positive that she has gained a lot of weight and grown a ton. We have decided to wait until her 1st birthday to see if they are still concerned with her size, and if they are we might run the tests they want then, but I am waiting until then. Mostly because I know in my heart nothing is wrong with her! She is perfectly healthy!! Well here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure!!

Ohhh yess...I forgot to mention, Faith has lost her....HAIR, and mostly all of it! Poor Baby ;)
