Of course, when we have visitors, Faith gets sick!! She was sooo miserable and crabby all weekend! It started on Friday afternoon, she had a slight fever, which I atributed to teething, gave her some tylenol...and we moved on with our day! Woke up Saturday, had a little fever again, we had a busy day with Roxanne & family, went to the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry, then we went to a launching of one of the barges that Josh had been working on, Faith was crabby, but nothing too serious. THEN went to dinner, and she was MISERABLE, had a super high fever, luckily I carry Tylenol with me, so we barley made it through dinner, came home, checked her temp & it wasn't too bad, got her to bed, and snuggled it...then 1 am rolled around, and her fever was up to 102.5 :( needless to say we were up for a few hours with her, monitoring her fever & trying to make her happy! Sunday she was crabby, I kept her on tylenol all day so she never really got a fever, then Monday was basically the same, until Josh gave her a bath, and we noticed she had a huge rash! Tuesday morning the rash was way worse, so I called the doctor & we went in Tuesday afternoon! To my dismay he was very happy to see the rash (I was not)!!! He told us it was Roseola, which the rash means we are on the home stretch!!
I am so thankful it wasn't anything more serious. I am pretty sure Faith cried more this weekend than she has done her entire life. NOTHING made her happy, not even me :( I was really scared all day yesterday, I though for sure there was something seriously wrong with her! She seems to be MUCH better today, so thank you everyone for the thoughts & prayers from my Facebook status'! You are all much appriceated, I'm actually glad she wasn't that bad because of teething, because I don't think we could do that for every tooth!!

The weather here in Portland has been unseansonably warm (so I've been told) but we have really been enjoying the weather!! It has been in the 60s some days!! So since it was a beautiful weekend, we decided to take a trip to the coast!! I forgot how beautiful and breath taking the ocean really is! God can creat some beautiful things, I can't even express in words sometimes! We started off in Astoria, which was kinda of disappointing, it was beautiful, but no beach access, so we met up with Corree & Nick and ate some lunch in Astoria, then we headed down to Cannon Beach....BEAUTIFUL!!! We took some pictures & just walked along the coast, then headed back home! I can't believe we only live an hour and a half from the ocean, you can bet we will be going there a lot more, now that the weather is nice (hopefully it stays this way)! 
So, ever since Faith has starting sitting up, it is a whole new world to her. She has become a WIGGLE worm, so interested in everything! It is crazy, she has since started scooting, and just becoming a big girl! Where did time go, what happened to my little baby who fell asleep in my arms, and was content hanging out in one spot all day?!? It isn't all bad though...it is really amazing watching her grow and discover new things. She acts like she has the whole world figured out!!! Everything goes in her mouth, and no we still have no teeth :( I can feel one on the bottom tho, so I am hoping it breaks through this weekend!!
Josh's mom was here over the weekend, just a quick trip, she is headed to Medford to see Roxy & the kids then to California, then Hawaii, then possibly back up here! It was really nice to see her, she hasn't seen Faith since she was a week old!!
Ok so it wasn't really an extravaganza, and it was something we probably would have done either way, but it just happened to fall the day after she turned 6 months :)
