yay me!!!

Ok sorry i have to do a little blog happy dance!! Im down 17 pounds as of today!!! Yay its been super hard but slowly and surely I am getting them off...and it feels so good!!! Just had to share with someone ;) and NOT facebook ;) Haha!! I hope everyone is having a fabulous Monday, and had an even better weekend, I am so glad the world didnt come to an end ;) Haha!!

i need.....

A MAJOR blog renovation ....and to blog about my florida trip!!! Ugh if i could get my kid off my legs for a little bit and had the time!
Your probably wondering why i have no time....i wonder the same thing 99% of the time! Right now im sitting on my bed watching the backyardagains with Faith in my lap....i blame this on the 3 teeth that have come through and are still coming through!
And to top it off my mom comes Sunday (YAY!) and i NEED to clean!! How do you mommas that work survive?!?!?!

Florida-take 1

Faith and I are wrappin up our few days in Orlando with our friends Jessie & Paisley! We have missed them so much in the last few months!! But it feels like we've never been apart! We didn't do much since the girls are so young, and the daddies aren't here! We did go to Universal and the girls got to.play in th water at the curious George play area, and see a Barney.Live show!! And today we went shopping and swimmin, and went to the downtown Disney Marketplace and ate at the Rainforst Cafe!! Its been really nice having some girl time with Jessie after the girls were asleep!! I have really missed her!

Tomorrow Faith and I are headed up to The Villages to spend a few days with Grandma Nancy! Im really excited she has never met Faith and i know it will be a great weekend with some great memories!!! I will.do my best to post lots of pictures when i get home!!

18 months= 1 year and a half....I'M SPEECHLESS!!!!

WOW!! I can't believe our baby is 18 months...and isn't even a baby anymore...a full blodded TODDLER!!! Where did this come from?! Where has time gone?

We have Faith's 18 month check up on Monday, and I'm not counting on anything different, hoping for 20 pounds...but not holding my breath!! Faith is growing out of her 12 month clothes...not in her waist of course, but her arms, and legs!!! Thank GOD for Gap...because withouth Gap pants she wouldn't have any jeans to wear!!!

Faith says soo many words...not clearly of course, but she tries! She is a jumper, and a climber! She never stops moving!! I was doing dishes and she climbed on the foot stool and used to drawers as a ladder to climb on the counter...the other night she JUMPED off the couch, like super man...landed on her face, laughed and did it again!! Josh says it is because her favorite show is Curious George ;) so he says she can't watch it any more ;)!!! But what he doesn't know wont hurt him!! Today we started a swim class...more of a get use to and play in the water class, I'm sure it will take a few times for her to get into it but she did pretty good!!!

Parental Advisory: THE PERRY FAMILY IS NOT CREATIVE......

Please note, this is not to show you how creative we are, because that is definatley an area we are lacking ;( but hey at least we try right?!?! Last night we decided to make a gingerbread house....this was supposed to be done on Christmas Eve, but Josh is working off for a few days, and we don't know when he will be home, so we made the best of it!!!

KinderMusik!

Well hello again!!

For the past 11ish weeks we have been going to KinderMusik! And we LOVED it! We had a great time, and got to know some new friends!! Faith also learned a lot, from dancing, and sharing and telling toys and instruments "bye,bye"! Let me tell you that first class, the first time she had a shaker taken from her was NOT a very pretty scene!

I have really enjoyed taking her there, and will be sad until or next semester starts at the end of January! We always looked forward to Thursday mornings and taking her! Let me tell you though, Faith is not a "normal" kid, at least compared to all the kids in Kindermusik around her age! She is a NON STOP toddler, she doesn't sit still, she pulls things out from under the table, she runs crazy through out the whole class! I learned early, that there was no stopping her!!! Especially since a lot of the kids were 6-10 months old it was kinda embarassing at first, but she ended up charming everyone, even while running a muck! I am looking forward to next semester when we get bumped up to the next age group and she is the youngest, maybe she will appear less...."crazy"!

Pre-Turkey Day update ;)

I know I know, I am HORRIBLE at blogging, I never knew once I had a toddler, I would have ZERO time, well especially since I don't have a desk or anything like that and she is ALWAYS turning my computer off, or trying to push buttons (mine & the computers).

YAY!! Mommy FINALLY updated our blog!!

Faith is doing GREAT, developmentally, we went for her 15 month check up (a little late), once I found a doctor here in Morgantown! He was super nice, thanks to a referral from a friend in Kindermusik! And he didn't get on me about her weight, which I consider a home run, because that is all I EVER hear about!! Are you ready for this one....my almost 16 month old is weighing in at....take a guess.....whatever your thinking is wrong.....she is......16 lbs, 12 oz :( hahaha, Josh and I were positive she was almost 20 lbs...no such luck!! She isn't in any percentile for her weight, which I am use to...she is 29 and 1/4 inches long, which puts her in about the 45th percentile for her height!! So at least she is on the charts somewhere right?! And in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my healthy, tiny little peanut!! Who makes it easy to carry her around ;)

I hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving week, Faith and I are off to my Kentucky to visit my Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Jean, also my Grandma and Grandpa Shively will be there!! Unfortunatley Josh only has Thursday off, so he can't join us! I have seen them more in the past 6 months than I have in 3 years, and for that I am VERY Thankful for, especially since last Spring we almost lost my grandpa before he even met Faith, Thank you God, for giving me the opportunity to let them spend time together!! I will post lots of pictures...eventually, hopefully before Christmas ;)

Annnddd...now time for some ahhhmazing pictures...haha enjoy, since I know that is why most people look at the blog anyhow, which I am ok with!!!

Vegas/Halloween!

Faith & I had our worst flying adventure yet....and I wont go into details, because it was just that bad I would have to write for HOURS!! Not because of Faith, tho thankfully, I will never fly Delta again that is for sure!!

Anyways! We arrived to Vegas on Rochelle's birthday, we got to see her new house, and spend some girl time, with Chelle, Angelina and Mom :) Faith got to show off her walking skills to everyone, and get used to having people in her face 24/7! We had to go to Wal Mart, to buy clothes...our luggage ended up in Jacksonville Fl! Then we arrived to YaYa & Papa's house and ate Happy Joes Pizza...it was AMAZING!!!!! It was for Chelle's bday, but I had some selfish reasons for having it shipped too!! Tuesday we had a girls shopping day...without Ang :( she had school!! But I got some MUCH needed jeans from my favorite store (The Buckle)! The rest of the days were filled with napping and just hanging out going here, and there and everywhere!!! And hair appointments ;)

MOM! 3 hour time changes SUCK!!!!

Apparently only on the West Coast do they do trick or treat on Halloween night, so Sunday night we got the girls all dressed up for halloween! Angelina had pink eye so we had a little scare that she wouldn't be able to go, but we put gloves on her and used a lot of sanatizer!!! Faith did great, tried walking in everyone's house...to be expected I guess!! Monday we got to see Grandpa Ken, then went to the Kolar, Shively, Fenn house for dinner...spaghetti...mMmMmMm...

Changes in Attitudes....Changes in Lattitudes...

So after a year of taking care of Faith, and not really doing anything for myself, or even taking time for myself, I decided I needed to get back in the swing of things!! I decided it was time for a change, time to chop my hair off. This may sound stupid to some people, but I can't descirbe how it made me feel! My long hair NEVER got done, I just jumped out of the shower, and threw it up, I spent more time getting Faith ready for the day then I did myself, and honstley I think I cared more what she looked like than me! It is crazy how a cut and color can change your whole outlook and change how you feel about yourself! I never thought I would have short hair that I couldn't even pull up, but it forces me to straighten it, and I think that is a plus!!! It forces me to spend time on myself, which is good. I think my husband appriceates it too!!

So here are some pics, that most of you have already seen, but enjoy anyhow, I know I am!! Especially the only 20 min. it takes me to actually do it!! ;)

We are BACK!!!

WOW, I know I haven't blogged in FOREVER, we haven't had internet, except on our phones in town, but now we are back on track, THANK GOODNESS!! I have been missing everyone's blog posts and updating everyone on my little princess!! Our lives are pretty crazy right now, but we are trying to get back on schedule. We have moved to Morgantown, West Virginia. It is beautiful here, and we like it for the most part...except family isn't here, but we are used to that!!

I don't have time or memory to update everyone on the last 2 months, but it has been FULL!!! Faith is a walker, she started at 13 months and 1 day, and hasn't stoped since! She is almost a runner now! I love it!! I love chasing her around outside, letting her explore, and act like a spider monkey thinking she can climb up walls!! She is getting LONG, and still skinny, but has a bigger belly than she has EVER had,and wears all 12 month clothes, which for her is a HUGE accomplishment! She has always been one size behind on her clothes, but somehwhere between 9-12 months she caught up! She has the longest legs, which I am jealous of!!

We are working really hard on sign language, although Faith usually comes up with her own variation of signs, but I guess at least I understand what she means! She can sign milk (correctly), eat, and more...we are still working on some others!!! She says a few words, her favorite is "HI!" with a phone, a remote, or her hand up to her ear like a phone. She LOVES dogs, and will point at a dog and say "dog, dog, DOG" while trying to run twords it!!! Of course, she says momma, dada, and ball, but other than that is a lot of babble that she can repeat back to you if say "what Faith?"

Ok well I have bored you enough for now, I promise to post from now on, Faith and I are leaving for Las Vegas on Monday to spend time with Chelle for her birthday and halloween with the family! I will have lots of pics I'm sure!!!

Birthday EXTRAVAGANZAAAAAA

Ok, it wasn't really an extrtavaganza, but I can pretend right?!?! It was a great time, Faith might not agree, but I enjoyed celebrating her birthday!! Jessie & I made her the cutest Skull Cake...thank god for Jessie and her creativity (and steady hand)! I ordered a cake with Faith's picture on it, for the adults and it turned out....ok....lol!

Faith wanted NOTHING to do with presents, I mean nothing, she didn't care about the paper or anything, she like one card, from Angelina & family....other than that no intrest! She did enjoy her cake, after I had to shove some in her face, to show her she was supposed to eat it and that it tasted GOOD! lol, then she dug in, it was quite a big cake though, so we had some leftovers! Then I had to hose her off to open gifts! It was TOO hot to be outside, so we were all crammed inside, so everything went pretty quickly, then we were off to the pool!! Faith thougth she could swim apparently, because she started freaking out & moving my hands off of her, crazy kid!!! Anyhow, that is pretty much all about her birthday, all in all it was a good time. Our family was definatley MISSED, but we have learned to make the best of things

Sorry it took so long to post...we've been hoping and preparing to move, but it looks like we have another week here!!
