A few things about Faith...

Soo...ever since Faith was born (ok a little after) she has been super nosey! If there is something going on or we are somewhere, she is awake looking around, and taking it all in! I like to call her nosey Rosey sometimes ;) no matter how tired she is...she stays awake!
Another thing she LOVES, is her stroller...she will sit in there forever, but not in her carseat in the stroller, in the big girl part sitting up...looking around, again being nosey! She loves walks in the stroller, in the mall, outside, anywhere as long as she can sit in there she is a happy happy girl ;)
Also, the outdoors, she is already so obsessed with being outside, even tho it is cold! We go out side & she SMILES soo big, especially if she knows we are going on a walk in her stroller outside...that is her favorite!! When we were in Texas getting ready to leave, I was inside packing, and Josh was outside getting ready, Faith sat outside in her stroller for over and hour just watching him & taking it all in!
When Faith was born, until about 3 months old she HATED her carseat ;) She screamed the entire time we were in the car...but our LONG drive from Las Vegas here, she somehow began to love it!!! Which was a good thing, because I can't imagine how that trip would have gone if she hadn't figured it out, or if Angelina wasn't there!!! Now she basically falls asleep everytime we get in the car...I won't complain tho!!! :)

Ok that is all I have for now...I can't believe she is 6 months old today! Time has flown by, and although I don't remember what life was without her, it feels like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant...such an amazing feeling, I will never forget that day, the first time I told someone (which was you Jess), saying it outloud was an amazing feeling, life is so beautiful, and goes by so fast. Although my life can be crazy & bumpy sometimes, I think it is PERFECT, and wouldn't have it any other way. I can't believe that in 6 months Faith will be a year old.

This is what Faith looked like 6 months ago:

Hope everyone has a great weekend.....xoxoxo

Faith *LOVES* food!!

Ohh my the last week or so she has been LOVING food! She especially loves Sweet Potatoes and Pears. Banannas are growing on her, and she likes apples too ;) We were bathing every other night, now we do every night because she is a messy messy girl! Sweet Peas are not her favorite thing in the world, but I can only expect that from her I wouldn't eat them either!

I am really looking forward to her 6 month check up...UGH 6 months I can't believe it! We have her appointment on February 5th :) I am very positive that she has gained a lot of weight and grown a ton. We have decided to wait until her 1st birthday to see if they are still concerned with her size, and if they are we might run the tests they want then, but I am waiting until then. Mostly because I know in my heart nothing is wrong with her! She is perfectly healthy!! Well here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure!!

Ohhh yess...I forgot to mention, Faith has lost her....HAIR, and mostly all of it! Poor Baby ;)

Motocross

Soooo...a couple weeks ago we took Faith to her first MotoCross event...it was, hmm interesting! She cried basically the whole time, slept through some of it, and then after intermission cried again, until we had to go! I am glad we got to see half of the show tho! I think a day event would have been better, it was her bed time, and the guy next to us was super loud, not to mention creepy ;) anyhow, here are some pictures!

5 month update!!

I can't believe Faith is 5 months!! I think I say that every month that passes, but 5 months sounds so old!

For Faith's 5 month birthday I got her....SNOW!! YAY, that's right it snowed on the 29th here in Portland, and no one was prepared for it, they said it was going to rain all day, then all the sudden it started snowing like CRAZY! It was awesome!

On a down note, we had a doctors appointment on Wednesday to follow up on her weight, like always, and she was only 10 lbs 15 oz, so of course now the doctor wants to run some tests for Celiacs disease...we still haven't decided if we are going to do it at her 6 month appointment, but we will see how much weight she has gained! She was 24 inches long tho...her height & head circumfrence are in the higher percentiles tho :)

After her doctors appointment we started feeding her baby food, we had been doing rice cereal for a few weeks, and were ready for food, so I got to use Faith's christmas gifts from her Yaya (she got a baby food cookbook, steamer, and food processor) Her first food was Sweet Potatoes! I'm not sure who enjoyed what more, I was very proud of myself for making it for her, and she LOVES sweet potatoes! She wasn't so sure about the apples I made for her the other day, but I think she just wasn't used to how sweet they are!!
And last but CERTINALY not least, on Wednesday morning (Jan 30th) Faith rolled from her tummy to her back!!! I didn't witness the first time, I left her on the bed & went outside and came back and she had rolled over!!!! I thought I was crazy at first.....but she did it 4 more times that day!!! YAY!!!!
I hope everyone is having a very Happy New Year, and maybe this year I will keep up on my posts a little better!!!
Love,
E

Christmas!

WOW, I haven't posted in almost a month! Hope everyone had a great Holiday season! And everyone isn't too cold!

Faith & I went to Las Vegas the weekend before Christmas, we had a great time, and although Yaya had to work a lot we still got some quality time with her!! Faith & I even cooked chocolate chip pumpkin bread & Faith fell asleep in her arms...I think that was probably her favorite memory from our visit! We missed having Josh there, but I am so happy we made it home for Christmas with him!

Skyping Grandpa Ken on Christmas morning!

Out to breakfast at Denny's in her Christmas Jammies!

On Christmas eve we went to the Portland Speedway and went through the light parade they had, it was SOO pretty, altough Faith slept through it, I'm sure next year she might enjoy it! Then Christmas morning we slept in...well till 8 or so, then we went to Denny's for breakfast, and hung out then went over to Corree & Nick's house, where Faith got some clothes, I got my 2nd Snuggie (& YES I AM HAPPY ABOUT THAT) and Josh got a Leatherman! It was really nice hanging out with them on Christmas, helped me forget that we weren't with family, I consider them family now!

The day after Christmas was a BIG day for us! We went to the mall, and got Faith's ears pierced! I did really good, a lot better than I thought I would. Faith did AWESOME! She only cried for about 30 seconds, Josh on the other hand, not so great, after it was finised he had to take Faith outside while I finised up, it was super cute ;)
